Miami Beach Convention Center Vote

On the 14th of August, residents will consider a couple of questions on the ballot for the Miami Beach Special Election.  The election was called by the Mayor and Commissioners. This election is the same day as the Florida Primary so residents will be voting for the District 113 representative in the Florida Legislature. This district covers Miami Beach and parts of Downtown Miami. These two locations make this district one of the economic powerhouses of Florida. In order to vote on August 14, you must have been registered to vote by July 16.

VOTE YES TO QUESTION 1:

By selecting number 502 you will vote yes to updating, renovating, and improving the much needed Miami Beach Convention Center. Aside from the overall renovations to the look of the building, this will also include payment of any debt service related.

In order to vote please bring a current and valid identification that contains your name, photograph and signature. Remember to bring your Voter Information Card with you to vote. While it is not mandatory that you bring the Voter Information Card, it may help expedite your voting experience. During early voting, an individual can vote in any of the early voting sites countywide on the Miami Beach ballot questions.

There are 2 designated locations to vote:

Miami Beach City Hall, First Floor Conference Room, 1700 Convention Center Drive

North Shore Branch Library, 7501 Collins Avenue
